First I want to thank you all for reading my VERY FIRST post!! I have been wanting to start blogging for a long time but I got in my head about it! I wondered, "would I be good enough?" "What if no one likes it" and in between my insecurities I had my 3 youngest children! So now I am a proud mother of 5, yes 5 kids! Ages 15yrs. to 3 months and boy let me tell you its like an amusement park in my house!! All the ups and downs, thrills and chills lol!
Now with everything that goes on in my house from basketball practice to football practice to homeschool for my girls I rarely have time for anything BUT it is important to me when I leave my house to feel as beautiful as I can!! I am absolutely OBSESSED with beauty and fashion! From hair, perfumes, shoes, and jewelry; all the way to my largely growing makeup stash! I am a collector at heart and if it sparkles, has a high heel or has a duo-chrome effect I have to have it!! Now anyone who knows me knows that my most collected item has got to be lipsticks!! I LOVE them!! But being a woman of a darker complexion my color selection isn't as big as i would like it to be! But I work with what i got and I follow some beautiful young ladies online to help me out a bit! Since my time is ALWAYS short I have to either get dressed, shop, or do my makeup quickly but efficiently.....I hope.
Now I am married to a wonderful man who is a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army and we move ALOT!!! So it was very important to me to find beauty products that I could buy no matter where I am so I TRY not to become to attached to HTF and limited edition things unless I buy like 3 or 4 of them so when I run out I have a back up! But in the makeup world we live in its getting harder to do by the collection!!!
So in closing my blog will be about my hauls, swatches, deals I come across, honest reviews, LOTD, FOTD, and Outfit of the Day posts. Most of all I hope to encourage others like myself who are learning and experiencing their passion for all things beauty but may become bogged down by life and think you don't have time because you have a family. Always putting everyone else's needs before yours and not taking time for yourself!! Or you think you're you're not good enough, or will anyone like it or you!! Sometimes you just have to say the heck with it and go out on a leap of faith! I know I am!! So I hope my readers will enjoy my content. Comment, give me their honest opinions, and positive critique. I am also looking to learn from each and every one of you ESPECIALLY the MUAs that may come across my blog!!
